Stenciling is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to decorate surfaces in your home with paint – walls, floors, ceilings, furniture and fabric. Stenciling is generally done with foam rollers, short‑pile paint rollers or stencil brushes.
You can stencil with hobby acrylic paints or latex wall paints. The key to successful stencilling projects is to use a “dry” brush or roller that has been thoroughly offloaded so that excess paint cannot seep under the stencil.
